UNITED NATIONS, N. Y., Aug. 25—George Bush, chief United States delegate to the United Nations conferred today with Secretary General Thant on relief for East Pakistan. Mr. Bush said he had named his deputy in the Security Council, W. Tapley Bennett, to head United States work with the relief “task force” now being set up by Mr. Thant.
