NEW DELHI, Oct. 12—Indian Government sources said today that the Pakistani military tribunal that tried Sheik Mujib for treason had found him guilty and recommended the death penalty.

The trial was said to have been concluded 10 days ago and the recommendation sent to President Yahya. An Indian official source said that the verdict had been sent to all Pakistani diplomatic missions. The Indian officials said they had obtained the information from a Pakistani diplomat who had defected.
