NEW DELHI, Wednesday, Dec. 1 (UPI)—The All‐India radio said today that Mukti Bahini troops had liberated Radhanagar, a town about four miles inside the northern border of East Pakistan and about 25 to 30 miles from the district town of Sylhet.
Fighting is in progress on the highway between Radhanagar and Sylhet, the radio said.
Pakistan charged that Indian troops were involved in the fighting in Sylhet district, the mountainous tea‐producing area of the northeast, but officials in New Delhi continued to maintain that the action was by the Mukti Bahini.
