KARACHI, Pakistan, Dec. 8 (UPI)—Five planes evacuated more than 500 foreign nationals today.
The largest group of from 350 to 380 was flown to Teheran, Iran, by four West German military plant. They included 20 United Nations employes and their families, but most were West Germans.
A fifth plane, a Qantas Boeing 707 that arrived from Sydney, Australia, evacuated 158 foreigners to Bahrain. Most were Australians and New Zealanders, but they included nationals of Japan the United States, Britain, Ghana, Malaysia, Indonesia and Egypt.
