NEW DELHI, March 27 (AP)--Radio Pakistan said today that the Pakistani Foreign Ministry had complained to the United States Ambassador and the British High Commissioner about news coverage of events in East Pakistan by the Voice of America and the British Broadcasting Corporation.
The broadcast said that the ministry objected in particular to a report from Washington carried by both radio stations that the United States Consul General in Dacca had sent a report to Washington saying there was extensive fighting in Dacca, the capital of East Pakistan.
The radio quoted the United States Ambassador, Joseph S. Farland, as saying that the Consul General, Arch K. Blood, had not sent such a report.
