Background: East Pakistan was warned on Friday (12 Nov.) against trying to form a government from the winners of next month's by-elections. The warning came from West Pakistan Leftist People's Party leader, Mr. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, speaking in Karachi.
Mr. Bhutto was winding up a thousand mile tour of West Pakistan which followed his visit to Peking to seek Chinese support for Pakistan President Yahya Khan in the current border confrontation with India.
Six right-wing parties have formed an alliance to contest 78 National Assemble-by-elections made necessary by the disqualification of the now-outlawed Awami League, which can an absolute Majority in the Assembly in last December's elections.
