TRANSCRIPT: SEQ. 2: MR. ALAM: "I think we have made our position on the United Nations observers clear. We are not a party to their presence. Number two: Anyone by whom activities the enemy forces get advantage becomes to that extent an accessory. In the Mukti Bahini we deal with those in the same manner. We hope, and we have expressed it publicly, that nothing should be done under any cover, to give aid, support and assistance, to the enemy forces. We appreciate the concern of the world as a whole, and the United Nations, in this regard, but we would have liked that an attempt should be made, in consultation with us, so that their efforts, however well-meaning they may be, do not lead to the killing of the very people for whose support "these are intended."
