Delhi. Nov 3.—Indian Air Force aircraft went into action yesterday against four Pakistan jet fighters which intruded into Indian air space on the western borders, a Government spokesman said here today.

He alleged that the Pakistan fighters, in groups of two, flew over the Punjab and said Indian aircraft went out after them. The Pakistan jets flew back into Pakistan territory.

The spokesman refused to state whether there was any fighting in the air. -Reuter.
