KARACHI, Pakistan, Dec. 14 (AP)—Heads of seven political parties constituting the United Coalition headed by Prime Minister Nurul Amin, appealed to the United States and China today “to urgently arrange for practical help to Pakistan.”
They told President Nixon and Premier Chou En‐lai in a statement: “Every moment is extremely important for the future of Pakistan and any slightest delay on your part can make Pakistan's future uncertain. Our nation has great hopes in you and they can be met by taking timely and urgent practical measures.
“The imbalance in the war between India and Pakistan is due to the fact that one superpower, Russia, is backing and supporting India in a big way. As against that, Pakistan has neither a big nor small power at its back.
“The situation at present is that there is no liaison between West and East Pakistan.”
